85 percent of Horizon Organic® milk is supplied by more than 475 certified organic family farmers from 22 states across the country.
Our network of family farmers adhere to the same set of organic guidelines that govern the way we treat our own animals on our farms in Maryland and Idaho. We enhance the growth and nutritional value of our grass through sustainable pasture management, and the use of pesticides, herbicides and commercial fertilizers is prohibited. The cows we use for Rachel’s yogurt are not given any artificial growth hormones, or food with GMO ingredients. We’re also looking at ways to improve sourcing for our International Delight and Land O’Lakes creamers.
