This is why Silk, Horizon Organic and International Delight match each kilowatt-hour of electricity used in product production by purchasing renewable energy offsets through the Bonneville Environmental Foundation. The Silk brand took its energy offset program one step further with its “Green Caps for Green Energy” consumer promotion. Over the course of two years, Silk donated enough renewable wind energy to power over a half a million homes for one day.
